At the end of last week I got a letter from the Government stating that my income from 2005 was adjusted and now I owe them almost $1,000 by Feb. 5. (I'm contacting my accountant to figure out what happened). This was a pretty harsh blow because that's about how much money I've saved from my freelance projects to pay for my round-trip flight to Tanzania. Obviously upsetting. Well, I don't have money, but God knows my heart and I just have to continue trusting that God will provide.

another week closer!

This week has been a tough week. Alot of stress and lack of sleep. I'm working really hard to complete all my remaining freelance projects so that I can focus on preparing for this trip. The Fundraising Dinner is coming up in 3 weeks and there's so much to do yet! It's going to be awesome! Check out the "Fundraising Events" page for all the details. RSVP beginning on Saturday.

the weeks are flying by...

... and I'm sure the next few months are going to go by fast as well.

just over 4 months to go!

With just over 4 months to go the plane tickets are being quoted. It looks like I'll be leaving around May 17th with a week layover in Germany. :)
