I have arrived!

My travel adventures began well Tuesday morning. My friend Derek got me to the Buffalo Airport in plenty of time. The plane left its' gate on time. The ride was only to take 45 minutes including taxiing but then the plane got held up in two different "holding patterns" and we landed in Detroit one and a half hours late. I stepped off the plane knowing I had moments to catch my next plane. As I got off the plane at Gate 79 the customer service attendant nicely told me that I had to get to Gate 37 in 5 minutes. Yikes! I ran so hard, I really did not think I was going to make it. I made it, barely, the plane doors were closed right behind me. Phew. But alas my luggage did not grow legs and got stuck in Detroit. I landed at the Amsterdam Airport 10 minutes before boarding call of my next plane. It was very fortunate that the plane I had to catch was only 6 gates away. The flight to Kilimanjaro was uneventful and I arrived right on time.
After waiting through the Visa line and filing a missing luggage report, Nadine, her father, and I headed out and arrived at Pamoja Ministries by 10 pm. Perfect!
Thursday morning I woke up to new surroundings... a new life for the next 10 months! More on that to come later! (It's getting late.)

Wow! I depart on Tuesday, October 16th at 5 pm. I can't wait! I am looking for a ride to the Buffalo Airport so if you're able to help me out please let me know.
